Tomi Obaro, a writer and editor for BuzzFeed, will kick off the 2022 Haystack Book Festival at the Norfolk Library September 30, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., when she presents the Brendan Gill Lecture. Obaro’s debut novel, “Dele Weds Destiny,” has been described as a beautiful story about “the complicated labor of friendship and parentage.” Click here to register to attend in-person, or register here to watch via livestream on Zoom.
