The Norfolk Fire Department has announced its 43rd annual Memorial Day 5-Mile Road Race on Monday, May 30, at noon. Proceeds benefit the The William F. Kelley Memorial Scholarship. Registration ($35) should be completed online by May 27; there will be very limited day-of registration at $50. Commemorative t-shirts cost $15. Runner bibs and t-shirts (if ordered) will be packaged for pickup at 10:30 a.m. at the starting point at the intersection of Mountain and Westside roads. Donations are needed to help fund the department’s program.
