Great Mountain Forest begins its Winter Lecture Series Saturday, January 14, at 4:00 p.m. with a program at D.M. Hunt Library in Falls Village. Institute for American Indian Studies traditional storyteller Darlene Kascak, a Schaghticoke, and IAIS ecologist Susan Scherf, will present an interactive program examining how people can include “Etuaptmumk”—two-eyed seeing—in their daily lives. This concept refers to seeing the strengths of both Indigenous and Western knowledge. Register here.
