Dan Carr of Beavertides Farm in Falls Village will explain the anatomy and social structure of honey bees as well as the basics of managing a hive during a presentation at the Norfolk Library Thursday, April 6, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. He will detail what it takes to start a beehive at home. Carr has almost two decades of experience as a beekeeper and has been teaching beekeeping courses for many years. To register, click here.
