The Norfolk Hub will present a Northwest Connecticut Community College Entrepreneurial Center event on how to turn creative ideas into physical products that can be manufactured with a consumer-grade CNC machine. The program is set for Tuesday, May 31, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. In this small business seminar, participants will learn how to use V-Carve to take text, images, patterns and shapes and convert them into tool paths that can be cut, etched, lasered or milled. This seminar is taught by Erick Royer, CEO of Stepcraft, a U.S.-made three axis CNC machine company based in Torrington. Royer has decades of experience in small business development, video and magazine publishing and rapid prototyping. To register, click here.
