The Library is set to host our Taste of Torrington Food and Liquor tasting again this year on Wednesday, October 12th from 5-7.
This event features Torrington based restaurants and food providers with a hope of showcasing all that our city has to offer. The event also features a wine and beer tasting from Northwest Connecticut wineries and breweries.
In 2019, we SOLD OUT of 200 tickets as hungry residents sampled creative appetizers, main dishes, or desserts from Torrington restaurants. This year we expect another SOLD OUT crowd!
2019 participating restaurants continuously comment how they saw an increase in business to their facilities within days of the event! Attendees still mention how much they enjoyed trying new restaurants, many of which have now become their “go-to” dining out favorites.
The benefits of this event are two-fold. One, you get to help support the library. Two, you have a unique opportunity to engage with a new, diverse demographic of food lovers that will become your biggest fans.
