The Norfolk Chamber Festival will present a concert belatedly celebrating the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven July 8 at 8:00 p.m. in the Music Shed on the Stoeckel estate. The concert, featuring Tai Murry on violin and Boris German on piano with the Norfolk Fellows, will present Beethoven’s Sonata in D Major for Piano Four Hands; Quintet in E-flat Major for Piano & Winds, and String Quintet in c minor, Op. 104. There will be a pre-concert conversation that is free and open to the public with Paul Berry and other professors from the Yale School of Music at 7:00 p.m. before the Friday evening concert.
