“The Proposal,” a 2009 movie starring Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock and Betty White, will be screened at the Norfolk Library Thursday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. in honor of the late Betty White. White won five Primetime Emmys and received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2009. She died on December 31, 2021, at the age of 99.
