Popa Chubby, born Ted Horowitz, who has been hard rocking the blues for more than 30 years, will appear at Infinity Hall Friday, April 22, at 8:00 p.m. Over the course of a career dating back to 1994, he has adopted a performance style he describes as “the Stooges meets Buddy Guy, Motörhead meets Muddy Waters, and Jimi Hendrix meets Robert Johnson.” The Blues was the foundation of his playing style. He reflects, “I’m living in a wild time, and that is where the inspiration is drawn from. Everything is breaking down in the world. The lines are being redefined.
