Town of Winchester: Community College Hosting Free Pre-Manufacturing Program to Area Residents – April 18th to June 15th

Town of Winchester issued the following announcement.

Northwestern Connecticut Community College is hosting a free Pre-Manufacturing Certificate to area residents.  This program will provide a broad background in the  skills necessary for a vibrant career in manufacturing.  Among the  modules the program will feature are: 

  • Measurement
  • Workplace Safety
  • Basic Benchwork
  • Introduction to Blueprint Reading
  • Manufacturing Concepts
  • Manufacturing Math

Program begins April 18th and will run through June 15th from 5:30PM to 8:30PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

There were 302 Asian students enrolled in Litchfield County schools in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Connecticut State Department of Education.
