Town Of Winchester issued the following announcement.
The Winsted Water Works will conduct the annual water main flushing program in sections of Winsted starting Tuesday, April 12, 2022. The first areas to be flushed will be, Willow St and RowleyStreet. The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between the hours of 7 AM to 3:30PM. Please note the flushing process may cause discolored water and reduction in pressure. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Department of Public Works at (860) 379-4101.
FLUSHING OF MAIN STREET WILL BEGIN AT 10:00 PM ON TUESDAY EVENING-APRIL 12, 2022
